What to pack for an eco-camp-based walk in Tasmania
Your main luggage will be transported and you will carry just a day pack weighing between 5-7 kg containing the items you need on the trail, including your lunch and snacks, water, waterproof and warm layers, and other personal items. For ease of transport, your main luggage should be kept in soft bags (e.g. duffle bags or backpacks) no bigger than the standard carry-on size allowed by airlines.
