The TranzAlpine Scenic Train is available in either direction, commencing in Christchurch in the east, or Greymouth on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. Walk into Luxury can curate a custom journey combining your Tranzalpine experience with luxury lodge stays and nature-based experiences at either end of the track, or the mid-way point at Arthur's Pass.

The TranzAlpine service operates daily between late September and early May, and from Fridays to Mondays only during the cooler months.
