This luxurious stopover in Sydney and the Central Coast of New South Wales gives you time to soak up its striking architecture, rich history and beautiful beaches. Staying at one of the city's newest luxury hotels, explore Sydney's iconic landmarks, including the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and the historic The Rocks precinct. You may also consider a scenic ferry ride across the harbour to picturesque Manly Beach or a quiet walk through the Royal Botanic Garden, a veritable oasis in Australia's biggest city. You'll then be transferred to the luxurious Pretty Beach House, an adults-only retreat on the Central Coast. The lodge's spectacular infinity pool is surrounded by coastal bushland and endless ocean views, and guests enjoy direct access to the trails and secluded beaches of Bouddi National Park. Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

After checking in to Capella Sydney - a luxury hotel set in a beautifully restored State Heritage-listed building - the afternoon is yours to explore the city or relax. Take a short walk to Circular Quay where you'll experience the iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House up close. Next, head to The Rocks, Sydney's oldest precinct - follow the cobblestone streets and secret laneways and discover its cafes, wine bars, art galleries and markets hidden among the beautifully preserved sandstone heritage buildings. If time permits and the weather's nice, take a 30-minute ferry across the Harbour to Manly and visit one of Sydney's most beautiful beaches. After returning to Circular Quay via another scenic ferry ride, head back to the hotel via the Botanic Gardens. Start the evening with a pre-dinner drink at the stylish McRae Bar. Dine at the hotel's onsite restaurant Brasserie 1930 tonight or discover Sydney's vibrant foodie scene. Our Journey Designers will be happy to recommend something special based on your preferences.

Day 2

Enjoy a sleep-in this morning before breakfast at Brasserie 1930. There's time to squeeze in one last stroll to Circular Quay or the Botanic Gardens before being collected for your transfer to the Central Coast mid-morning. Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenic 90-minute drive, arriving at Pretty Beach House in time for a leisurely two-course lunch featuring fresh local produce. After lunch, we recommend one of two excellent Bouddi National Park short walks directly accessible from the lodge. The leisurely 90-minute return trail to Tallow Beach weaves through heath bushland and eucalypts, offering magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean before eventually descending to its namesake, a secluded beach, perfect for a barefoot stroll in the sand or a dip. Back at the lodge, you may consider a relaxing soak in your deep bath or plunge pool before sitting down to a delicious three-course degustation dinner paired with your favourite champagne or wines.

Day 3

After breakfast, the Pretty Beach House team will give you a packed lunch and take you to the start of the Bouddi Coastal Trail at Putty Beach. Today's leisurely four to five-hour self-guided walk on the Bouddi Coastal Trail takes you along the clifftop boardwalk to MacMasters Beach, with an opportunity to visit secluded Maitland Bay. Have a beachside picnic or enjoy your lunch at one of the many scenic viewpoints along the track. Return to Pretty Beach House and relax with a swim in the pool or an indulgent spa treatment. The evening begins with sunset drinks followed by another exceptional dinner.

Day 4

Start your day with breakfast in the lounge, followed by free time to relax at Pretty Beach House or explore Bouddi National Park's trails on foot or bike. Consider walking the 90-minute trail to Box Head for stunning views of the headland and coast, perfect for whale-watching at the right time of year. Your private driver will collect you for your return to Sydney mid-morning.
