Beginning in the heart of Australia, you'll stay at Longitude 131° in a luxury tent overlooking the iconic Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata-Tjuta (The Olgas). Highlights here include dining under the starry desert sky and a guided Uluru base walk. Swapping the red desert for sand and sea, you'll fly to Cairns, where your private driver will transfer you to Silky Oaks Lodge set on the banks of the Mossman River. Surrounded by the rainforests of Daintree National Park, activity options include guided walks, river snorkelling, kayaking and mountain biking. Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Upon arrival at Ayers Rock Airport, you’ll be transferred to Longitude 131°, one of Australia's most iconic luxury lodges, which overlooks the iconic Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Premium food and wine are included throughout your stay here. This afternoon you’ll view cave paintings at Uluru before visiting Kantju Gorge at dusk to watch the rock walls changing colour as the sun begins to set. Observe the changing light reflected over Uluru’s many faces as you enjoy a chilled glass of wine and canapés before returning to camp for dinner showcasing local produce at the Dune House restaurant. After dinner retire to your stunning luxury tent, perhaps relaxing on the deck lounge, taking in the silence of the desert at night.

Day 2

Wake up to one of the most iconic views in the world before an early breakfast this morning. There are two options for exploring Kata Tjuta today: join an easy guided group walk with fellow Longitude 131° guests to Walpa Gorge, or for the more adventurous we highly recommend a private guided Valley of the Winds hike (additional cost applies) which is renowned as the best day hike in the region. After an early morning collection, follow your guide along a challenging trail traversing rocky terrain, creeks and canyons leading to a spectacular natural amphitheatre known as the "Valley of the Winds." Return to camp in time for a late lunch and a relaxing afternoon by the pool or in your Luxury Tent with views of Uluru. Later, join your host and fellow guests at the Field of Lights, a spectacular art installation that lights up the desert landscape as the sun sets. Dine under the stars tonight at Table 131°, an exclusive venue among the dunes where you'll also learn about the Southern constellations from an expert guide.

Day 3

After a delicious breakfast of continental favourites and hot dishes from the a la carte menu, join your Longitude 131° host on a guided walk along a portion of the Uluru base walking track. The 10km base walk is a must-do and the flat path makes it a pleasant morning walk, with the opportunity to learn about the Mala people and rock art from your guide. Return to camp in time for another wonderful three-course lunch with wines. This afternoon is yours to relax by the pool, or to enjoy a massage or treatment at the spa.

Day 4

Enjoy an early gourmet breakfast taking in the spectacular views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta one last time. You will be transferred to the airport to catch your mid-morning flight to Cairns where your private driver will meet you for the transfer to Silky Oaks Lodge. After settling into your Treehouse Retreat with views over the Mossman River this afternoon, you may consider joining a guided "Silky Oaks Welcome Walk" where you'll enjoy a stroll around the property and kitchen gardens while learning about the local area's history. Otherwise, enjoy a pampering spa treatment or relax in your outdoor bathtub overlooking the waters below. Meet with fellow guests for evening drinks and canapes before sitting down to a gourmet dinner with premium-matched wines.

After a gourmet breakfast this morning, you have the opportunity to join a gently paced guided yoga class with fellow guests. After a peaceful start to the morning, we suggest a self-guided walk on the rainforest trails around Silky Oaks Lodge, including the exclusive Fig Tree Rapids trail. There are many wonderful spots to stop for a refreshing dip or borrow a snorkel for an immersive exploration of the Mossman River. The Treehouse Bar is available for guests to enjoy lunch today, while the afternoon offers ample time to enjoy this special property or join one of the lodge's guided experiences (additional cost applies). Following evening drinks and canapes, dinner tonight is another chance for the chefs to showcase the expertly prepared local produce while you enjoy the premium wine pairings.

Day 6

Following another gourmet breakfast this morning, we recommend joining the shuttle transfer into Port Douglas today to explore Four Mile Beach and the trendy Macrossan Street food and wine scene. Half-day trips are available to explore the nearby reef, or you may enjoy a walk along the palm-fringed beach taking in the mountainous surroundings. Enjoy a light lunch and some shopping in town before returning to Silky Oaks Lodge and your final evening of drinks, canapes, and dinner with fellow guests. Before bed, take a moment to relax by the firepit overlooking the river.

Day 7

You’ll be collected after breakfast this morning for your private ground transfer to Cairns. On arrival, you will be personally met at the airport and driven to meet your connecting charter flight to the island. Enjoy the magnificent views over the Great Barrier Reef on your scenic one-hour flight north to Lizard. After you check in and settle into your Gardenview Suite this afternoon, perhaps enjoy a swim in the resort pool or a glass of wine by the beach. Tonight, join fellow guests at Salt Water Restaurant and take in 180-degree ocean views whilst enjoying beautiful dishes showcasing the freshest local produce.

Day 8

After a leisurely start to the morning and waking to the sounds of the ocean, make your way to breakfast to enjoy an a la carte menu focused on fresh, seasonal produce. Today you will explore the island's turquoise waters and beaches, with the option to use paddleboards, kayaks and snorkelling gear. For the ultimate Lizard Island experience, take your private motorised dinghy to a secluded beach. Picnic hampers can be arranged for a scenic lunch on the shore, or you can dine back at the lodge. Later, relax by the pool before another special dinner at Salt Water Restaurant.

Today is yours to relax or enjoy more of Lizard Island's spectacular beauty. After yesterday's water adventures, join a scheduled tour to explore the island on foot with a local Naturalist guide to learn about Lizard Island's history, local ecosystems and unique flora and fauna. If you're feeling active, enjoy an early morning self-guided walk to Cook's Look, the highest point on the island where you'll be rewarded with panoramic views. The challenging four-kilometre walk is very steep, so it's recommended for those with high levels of fitness and agility. Private guided walks can be arranged at an additional cost. This afternoon, opt to join one of the other guided experiences available - a boat trip around the island or guided reef, fishing or snorkelling tours are popular and recommended options. For an extra special option tonight, you may wish to indulge in a personalised seven-course degustation dinner with perfectly matched wines in a private gazebo (additional cost applies - advanced bookings required). Stroll along the beach while enjoying a spot of stargazing before returning to your suite this evening.

Enjoy a leisurely gourmet breakfast this morning with one last chance to soak up the island views. Reflect on your time in Tropical North Queensland on the return flight to Cairns where you'll board a plane to Adelaide, South Australia's vibrant capital city. Your private driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Sequoia Lodge in the Adelaide Hills. Join a welcome drink with your lodge hosts, before dining in the Sequoia Lounge or your suite tonight.

Wake to wonderful views across the Piccadilly Valley and start the day with a coffee on your private deck before an a la carte breakfast in the Sequoia Lounge. Enjoy a self-guided walk through the beautiful Mount Lofty botanic gardens this morning. Later, you'll be transferred to Penfolds Estate, one of Australia's best wineries and home to the famous Grange wine. Enjoy an immersive tour of Penfold's vineyards and underground cellars, followed by a private tasting of some of the winery's most coveted wines including a vintage of its flagship Grange. Enjoy a delicious lunch upon your return to Sequoia, before making the most of the lodge's artesian spring-fed hot pools or the infinity pool overlooking the Piccadilly Valley. Penfolds grange

Day 12

After farewelling your Sequoia hosts this morning, your private local guide and driver will collect you for a picturesque drive along the Fleurieu Peninsula to today's trailhead on the Heysen Trail. Your guided walk begins along the Waitpinga Cliffs, traversing one of the most stunning sections of the 1200km Heysen Trail through Newland Head Conservation Park. The path is rich with coastal bushland, vibrant wildflowers, and native wildlife, with the chance to spot migrating whales during the right season. Take a break during the 3-4 hour walk to enjoy a packed lunch atop the clifftops. Afterwards, continue your journey towards Cape Jervis, pausing at Tapanappa Lookout in Deep Creek National Park, where you'll take in sweeping views of the southern coastline and possibly encounter a local family of kangaroos. Your journey continues to Cape Jervis, where you’ll bid farewell to your guide before boarding the 4 pm ferry to Kangaroo Island. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to Southern Ocean Lodge, arriving just in time for pre-dinner drinks in the Great Room, which offers spectacular views of the island’s rugged coastline.

Day 13

Begin your day with breakfast at the Lodge, enjoying views of the Southern Ocean, before heading to Flinders Chase National Park. A short walk leads to Admiral’s Arch, where Australian fur seals can be seen frolicking in the waters below, followed by a visit to Cape du Couedic’s historic lighthouse. Later, meet your private guide for a 4-5 hour hike along the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail. Starting at Remarkable Rocks, the 13km trek offers dramatic clifftop views of limestone and granite against turquoise seas. After a trail lunch in a peaceful cove overlooking another local seal colony, return to the Lodge mid-afternoon with time to relax in the plunge pools before pre-dinner drinks, canapés, and a three-course dinner with fine South Australian wines.

Day 14

Start your morning with a guided tour of Seal Bay Conservation Park after breakfast, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe fur seals and their playful cubs on the beach—a truly memorable experience. If time permits, either before or after lunch, take a self-guided loop walk through Hanson’s Bay, a picturesque section of the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail. The trail features a river crossing and meanders through coastal vegetation rich with birdlife before returning to the lodge. The afternoon is yours to unwind and enjoy the lodge’s facilities. Later, consider joining the Koalas and Kangas experience, offering the chance to spot koalas in the wild at Hanson’s Bay Conservation Area while enjoying a sunset drink.
