Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Cygnet Bay - welcome aboard

You'll be collected from Broome for the transfer to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm on the Dampier Peninsular where Kimberley Quest II awaits. After being welcomed aboard by your captain and crew and settling into your ensuite cabin, enjoy a delicious lunch whilst crossing King Sound, cruising through the thousand islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago. Cool off with a refreshing swim in one of many Kimberley freshwater pools, followed by a scenic tender excursion. This evening head to the sundeck to witness a spectacular Kimberley sunset before sitting down to a delicious dinner freshly prepared by the onboard chef.

Day 2: Dugong Bay, Talbot Bay, Horizontal Falls, Kingfisher Islands

The morning begins exploring Talbot Bay, home to one of the icons of the Kimberley coast; the spectacular Horizontal Falls. Enjoy an exhilarating ride through this natural phenomenon and wonder at the amazing rock formations of Cyclone Creek. Take a scenic tender excursion in and around Dugong Bay and cool off with a refreshing swim in one of the freshwater pools. Later in the day, try fishing for Giant Trevally, Mackerel, Tuna and Queenfish at the Kingfisher Islands, or simply relax on board in one of the lounges or on the sundeck.

Day 3: Montgomery Reef, Strickland Bay

The next stop is the 300km-long Montgomery Reef, Australia’s largest inshore reef. Watch as the tide falls right before you, creating a spectacular waterfall effect and take a tender ride to view many local marine species up close, including turtles and sea birds. This afternoon, head to Strickland Bay, where you can visit old pearlers' graves or join a fishing expedition searching for Threadfin Salmon and other species. Back on board, unwind on the sun deck as you capture one last Kimberley sunset.

Day 4: Cygnet Bay, Broome

After a final breakfast on board, disembark Kimberley Quest II in Cygnet Bay where you'll enjoy a Pearl Farm tour. It's then time to say farewell on the transfer back to Broome.
