Day 2

Your cruise will follow either Route A (North) OR Route B (South) today, depending on your departure date (your Journey Designer will confirm this at the time of booking).

Route A: After breakfast, explore Puesto de las Vacas, an old Patagonian ranch in the heart of the National Park, followed by a walk through the pristine sub-polar forest. Lunch is served on board with Spegazzini Glacier as your backdrop before setting sail towards Upsala Glacier, the largest in South America. In the afternoon, the ship lands at Seno Mayo in Toro Bay where you'll disembark for a hike to a waterfall, pausing along the way to take in spectacular views and discover unique flora only found in this region, one of the most humid areas of Los Glaciares National Park.

Route B: Disembark for a morning hike through the Patagonian Andean forest with views of the Mayo and Negro Glaciers. Before lunch, the ship heads to the Canal de los Tempanos (Iceberg Channel) on the way to the Perito Moreno Glacier. Marvel at this spectacle of nature while enjoying a delicious lunch accompanied by Argentinean wines. In the afternoon, walk along the Glacier’s northern walkways before Santa Cruz sets sail back to Marpatag's private dock for the transfer to El Calafate, arriving by 4 pm.
