          Day 1

After landing at Mendoza Airport, your local driver-host will be waiting to assist you with your luggage and whisk you to the Uco Valley. Enroute you will stop at one of the region’s best wineries for lunch. Andeluna is the home of a wonderful vineyard, orchard and restaurant, and the menu here is based on local ingredients, many harvested onsite. Enjoy a three course lunch, with wines added at cost so you can personalize your experience here. Later your driver will transfer you to Casa de Uco, where you will settle into your luxury room and have time to relax before dinner. We recommend dining at the restaurant, which has large windows that perfectly frame the Andes backdrop, where you will commence your hiking adventure tomorrow.

You will set off on a short 20 minute drive to the Portillo mountain range in the foothills of the Andes. Your private hike today takes in the diverse scenery of this special part of the Andes, which is a popular area for rock climbing due to its geological formations. Enjoy a packed lunch by a picture-perfect lake mid-way on your walk. After returning to the lodge, we recommend some time by the pool or perhaps a spa treatment before dinner.

Please note your itinerary order may change depending on the start date of your journey. For example you may enjoy the Asado lunch on day two and hike on day three.

          Day 3

After a leisurely start, you may like to explore the vineyard this morning with the option of a gentle walk or horse ride through the vines. Complimentary wine tasting is also on offer at Casa de Uco, so stop by the cellar door to learn about the grapes grown onsite and the classic Mendoza reds the region is known for. Lunch today is a special experience centred around a traditional Asado grill that your hosts have set up by the vines. Dine on a feast of grilled vegetables and meats, with Casa de Uco wines served throughout the meal. This is a unique way to meet fellow guests and locals, while dining outside with the ever-present mountains as your backdrop. This afternoon is yours to enjoy at the resort, with plenty of activities options or you may prefer a siesta, like a true local!
