When is the best time to visit WA?
Western Australia is a vast State with two distinct weather zones dictating the best time to visit. The northern third of the State including Broome and the Kimberley experience warm dry winters and humid wet summer months between November and March.
What to pack for a guided lodge-based walk in southwest Western Australia
Your main luggage remains at the lodge and you will carry just a day pack weighing 5-7 kg containing the items you need on the trail, including your lunch and snacks, water, waterproof and warm layers (if required), and other personal items. Cotton, silk, or denim garments are not suitable.
When is the best time to visit Ningaloo Reef?
Ningaloo Reef is blessed with warm weather year-round and little rainfall. The hottest months are November to February which can be very humid and bring seasonal cyclones and destructive winds.
