Explore the ancient World Heritage-listed Gondwana rainforest of the Scenic Rim region
Mt Cordeaux is located in Main Range National Park, part of the World Heritage-listed Gondwana rainforest of southeast Queensland's Scenic Rim region. The walk begins with your private guide leading you through the ancient rainforest canopy, where you have the opportunity to hear and perhaps even sight the threatened Albert’s Lyrebird which is known to inhabit the mountainside. Eventually, you’ll emerge onto a sunny ridgeline before reaching Bare Rock and enjoying views over the mountain escarpment. A packed lunch is enjoyed on the mountain before returning to your luxury accommodation.
