Following a private transfer from your Fiordland accommodation to Te Anau Downs, your experience begins with a cruise across beautiful Lake Te Anau to Glade Wharf at the lake's northern end. Take a moment to absorb the spectacular alpine lake scenery before a gentle 20 minute walk to Glade House, the official start of the Milford Track. Crossing the Clinton River via a large swing bridge, you'll continue along the west side of the river through lush native beech forest past Clinton Hut, with breathtaking glimpses of Dore Pass and Clinton Valley along the way. A picnic lunch is included to enjoy on the track before heading back to Glade Wharf for the return journey across Lake Te Anau this afternoon.
