From El Chalten, the trail to Laguna Torre meanders alongside Rio Fitz Roy, offering great views to the Torre Massif as you walk. Over 17 kilometres you’ll gain 510 metres as you hike up the valley towards the lagoon. On arrival you’ll have views of the Torre Massif, the adjacent river valley and the often hidden peaks lying beyond the towering Cerro Fitz Roy. Witness the icebergs floating in the glacial lake at Laguna Torre before continuing your guided walk back to El Chalten and your accommodation.
