Explore the wilderness of Kangaroo Island's west end with access to a private wildlife refuge and the iconic landscapes of Flinders Chase National Park.
Today's wildlife experience begins with an immersive lesson on fire ecology and how nature deals with wildfires, before exploring Flinders Chase National Park's renowned Remarkable Rocks - a natural sculpture perched precariously on top of a granite dome overlooking the ocean. Following an elegant picnic lunch in the bush, or - if weather permits - on a spectacular clifftop, visit Admirals Arch. Sculpted by weathering and erosion from the Southern Ocean over thousands of years, this natural rock formation is a rest and breeding haven for a large colony of long-nosed Fur Seals and you may spot pups playing near the rock pools.
Three weekly departures on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Small group experience of 10 guests maximum (or private on request). Includes pick-up and drop-off to select Kangaroo Island accommodation.
Note: This experience is only available when booked with accommodation or a Walk into Luxury Journey that includes time on Kangaroo Island. Refer to the suggested combinations below or contact us for further private journey options.
