Albany’s Bald Head Walk is known as one of the best day walks in Australia for its vibrant rock formations and wild clifftop and Southern Ocean views.
Albany’s Bald Head Walk is known as one of the best day walks in Australia for its vibrant rock formations and wild clifftop and Southern Ocean views. Located within Torndirrup National Park, you will be surrounded by water as you make your way to the tip of the Flinders Peninsula with King George Sound on one side and the Southern Ocean on the other. This private self-guided walk option provides 360 degree views of some of the most scenic coastline in Western Australia. We recommend allowing a full day for this hike, which is easily combined with a self-drive stay in Albany and can be included as an extension to a Cape to Cape Walk in nearby Margaret River.
Self-guided option, year round.
