    The Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest have a tropical climate with a distinct wet and dry season. The dry season (May to October) is ideal for snorkeling and hiking, while the wet season (November to April) brings heavy rainfall, rejuvenating the rainforest. Stinger suits are recommended for snorkeling during the wet season.
