Located in the historic township of Hadspen, ten minutes from Launceston's city centre, the Red Feather Inn accommodates up to 35 guests in a range of heritage inn rooms, suites and nearby standalone cottages. Discover the Georgian-era building's hidden history, relax in the beautiful secluded gardens, or find a cosy nook in the guest lounge to read or mingle with fellow guests. The onsite restaurant's menus feature locally sourced produce and a selection of Tasmanian wines exclusively for in-house guests. Red Feather Inn is also the departure base for the Cradle Mountain Huts Walk on the Overland Track, making it the ideal choice for pre- and post-walk accommodation. We recommend staying a little longer to explore Launceston and the nearby Tamar Valley wine region.

Between October and May, the Red Feather Inn is only available for the exclusive use of guests of the 6 Day Cradle Mountain Huts Walk (and other select Tasmanian walks). Individual bookings are welcome from June to September. Enquire for details.
