Connecting Luxury Travellers with Nature
Nature-based experiences paired with luxury accommodation and local food and wine, that is the essence of a Walk into Luxury journey
For us, luxury travel is closely linked with unique access to our natural landscapes. We travel to the destinations we know and love; those filled with world-class walks and nature areas alongside exceptional lodges. The landscapes of Australia and New Zealand will always be special to our local team, as that is where the Walk into Luxury story began, but today we are a thrilled to have trusted local guides and in-house experts across destinations ranging from Patagonia to Japan. Our signature journeys combine hand-picked lodges and personalised experiences giving you unique access to the world's best wilderness areas.

Our Story
Our journeys combine our signature experiences with luxury accommodation at our partner properties and local food and wine.
Walk into Luxury was founded in 2014 by Nikki King, a Perth local with a passion for hiking and a love of planning special trips with just the right balance of time in nature and evenings relaxing by the fire with a glass of red.
In 2014, the business began with a Cape to Cape Walk combining days on the trail with Margaret River winery lunches and nights spent in luxury pool villas overlooking the ocean. The experience hit a chord and in 2016 Walk into Luxury's signature Cape to Cape Walk was recognised as one of the 12 Great Walks of Australia, with the company taking out "Best Tour Operator" at the WA Tourism Awards the next year.
Today, Walk into Luxury has a team of local hosts and guides, a fleet of vehicles and a network of carefully selected boutique retreats, lodges, private chefs, cellar doors and local partners across Australia and New Zealand working to showcase the best of their country. For New Zealand born Nikki, offering journeys across Australia and New Zealand is a realised dream. Looking to the future, we know there are many unique destinations that our customers want to experience in Walk into Luxury style. So if it’s a world-class wilderness or hiking destination - whether Patagonia, Japan or the Himalayas - there is a good chance it's on our radar and we may be travelling there soon. Keep up to date with our new destination list by signing up for our email updates.
Can't fault the entire experience. I'm so glad I took this opportunity. Thank you for making memories so special.
Sustainable Travel
Walk into Luxury holds Advanced Ecotourism Accreditation for its award-winning Cape to Cape Walk. We are a member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, and we support the communities we operate in through donations, charity events, and track maintenance. Our team personally maintains 6 kilometres of the Cape to Cape Track, and we work with the Department of Parks and Wildlife to plant out sections of the track each year. We also have measures in place to minimise waste and emissions from our operations, and to offset emissions of our travel community. Learn more here.
